GAH my title makes me laugh D8

Anyways, pretty much the same thing as my previous "self-portrait" [link] But the 17 year old me. :noes:

Instead of the SMILING CHUB FACE OF MY 14 YEAR OLD SELF.

I look like a psycho, ... OLOLOLOLL. :paranoid:

Also keep in mind that I pretty much don't look anything like this. Not even the real half of my face looks like this very often. >_> SOOOO dont be scared of me! 8D

All your art is incredibly detailed but most of it is somehow soulless, almost like it's computer generated. This is just my first impression. So the part of the face and delicate gleams of light on the skin provide some needed warmth. Also,
while the background is pretty cool looking, I think it's too busy and takes away from the focus of the "painting". I think your work would stand out more if you limit the high detail to the focal points and use darker, more monotonous backgrounds - think Rembrandt.

Haha, this is actually a photo-manipulation of my face and a skull, not a painting~ so the detail was created once the photo was shot LOL. xD So you are right in a few ways!
